Terms & Conditions
Read these terms before using CareGuard AI.
1. Purpose
CareGuard AI is a preventive health monitoring and symptom pre-screening support prototype. It is intended to help users organize information and communicate changes to trusted people.
2. Not medical advice
CareGuard AI does not diagnose diseases, prescribe medicines, replace a healthcare professional, or provide emergency medical services. Always seek qualified medical advice for health concerns.
3. Emergency situations
If you believe an emergency is occurring, contact your local emergency services or go to an appropriate emergency facility. Do not rely on this application as the sole source of emergency assistance.
4. User-entered information
Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter. CareGuard does not intentionally invent patient health records. Demo data should be clearly marked and used only for demonstration.
5. Privacy
This prototype stores information locally in the browser unless a separately configured backend is connected. Do not enter highly sensitive information into an untrusted or shared device.
6. Alerts
Notifications can fail because of device, network, browser, configuration, or service limitations. Users must not assume that an alert will always reach a caregiver.
7. Medication
Medication reminders are user-entered reminders only. CareGuard does not recommend, change, or validate medication dosage or treatment.
8. Acceptance
By using the application, you acknowledge these limitations and agree to use it as a support tool rather than a replacement for professional healthcare.
